Leaving the Hospital

We are going to be discharged at some point this afternoon to stay in Houston until Ethan's follow up visit next week. Richard and Mom are coming down this afternoon to bring me my car and Ethan's carseat. I can't wait to go all the way home but I know that he needs to stay in town incase of an emergency for the next few days.

They are decreasing his Lasix to twice a day and upping his analapril to twice a day. He will still take his antibiotic for his aspleenia twice a day a she has been since birth, and he will take motrin or tylenol as needed for pain.

I can't believe that this part is almost over...

Woo Hoo!! I'm so glad to hear y'all are going home. It is SO nice to have quiet and dark!! You can lock the doors and no one can come in and bother you :) Ethan looks great in his pictures. We've been keeping you in our prayers!

Wow!!! That is such a great recovery....one week post-op! That is so great he is doing so well and we know he will continue to do so. You will continue to see great improvements with him daily. Since he is doing so good I know that Alyson will do good with her Glenn when the time comes!
